Meaza Joy (pronounced MAH zuh, like Maserati) is a dynamic singer-songwriter, model, and actress from the St. Louis area. Mentored by Amanda Fish, Annika Chambers, and many others, she is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary blues, rock, and soul.

In June 2026, she signed with entertainment legend Arny Granat and Grand Slam Productions for worldwide management. Granat, a Tony Award-winning producer and co-founder of Jam Productions, brings over five decades of industry experience to guide her career. That same month, Meaza also signed with Blind Pig Records, the legendary San Francisco-based blues label whose roster has included names like Bonnie Raitt and Koko Taylor over the decades. Label executives praised her powerful, emotionally resonant voice and noted that her songwriting adds real depth beyond her years. Recording for her next album with the label begins later this summer, with release planned for early 2027.

A proud Pinetop Perkins Foundation Alumni, Meaza has performed at prestigious venues and festivals including the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (2024/25), Beale Street during the BMA's and IBC, the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, and Rudy's Jazz Room in Nashville with the Wooten Brothers.

She has toured Blues Houses and Juke Joints from the Delta to Chicago, Florida to California, and everywhere in between. Her soulful, powerful voice draws comparisons to Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Koko Taylor, and Etta James. Meaza performs in duo, trio, 4–5 piece travel band, or full 12-piece configurations depending on the venue.

She has opened for the Amanda Fish Band on an extended Southwest US tour and has joined numerous touring acts on stage. Meaza has been recording in Nashville since the age of 9. Her latest project, "All At Once," appears on the album Cool New People (produced by L.A.-based Gigante Productions, featuring Chris Love, John Stamos, and Richard Marx). Her debut album, Free To Be Me, produced by Blues Music Award-winner Annika Chambers and Paul Deslauriers, was released in June 2026 at the Chicago Blues Festival. The album was recorded at Sound Arts Studio in Houston and features Paul Deslauriers and Grammy/BMA-winning musician Tony Braunagel.
